Today I saw a typically disheveled looking homeless (probably) man spend at least 2 minutes adjusting his beanie in the mirror of a public bathroom. (It lasted longer than I witnessed, because he was adjusting when I came in and when I left {after having blasted a piss])

Your "disheveled" was his "style". You would not deny every person his pride, I take it?
Being someone many people would likely describe as 'disheveled' I had no problem with his appearance or even his concern over the proper placement of his beanie. I just found it funny he would spend so much time adjusting how his hat sat upon his head but not, apparently, spend any time washing his face or beard. His priorities seem to be different than mine, which I am fine with, but I find it amusing.
